Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
There is no simple answer for this question. But on average, it is recommended that your carpets be cleaned a minimum of once per year. Some situation call for more frequent cleanings (kids, allergy, pets) - but this should be the minimum.
How often should I have my upholstery cleaned?
According to American Furniture Manufacturers Association, you should not let your upholstery get soiled to the point of a noticeable or visible change in the color of the fabric. This means that most upholstery has to be cleaned as a regular maintenance practice once every 18 to 24 months or before soil builds up and stains the fabric.
Is it true that once a carpet is cleaned it will re-soil much quicker?
This is true only if the cleaning process leaves shampoo or heavy soap residues in your carpet that actually attract soil. Our cleaning process does not leave heavy residues, and can remove most residues from previous cleaning from other cleaning methods. Our Truck Mount Cleaning System removes the solution and soil from your carpet directly into our truck. The end result is that after our cleaning and fabric protector is applied, your carpet stays cleaner and longer than if cleaned with other outdated processes.
Why do some stains reappear after carpets have dried?
Some stains may reappear after drying or after a few days of usage. This is usually caused by a previous soap build-up or stickiness from a spill. Stains reappearing from a process called "wicking" is also common. This is caused when the stain wicks up from the backing of the carpet. Our service technicians concentrate on these areas but can only go over areas a limited number of times. Return services may be subject to a minimum service charge AFTER our 1st return service. (1st is free).
How long do carpets take to dry after a steam cleaning?
Drying times may vary depending on the pile (fiber) of the carpet. Usually normal drying time is between three to six hours. We suggest you use ceiling or floor fans to aid in the drying process. Any air circulation will speed up the drying time.
Can I walk on my carpet after it has been cleaned?
You may walk on your carpets as long as you don't have your feet soiled. However, try to keep pet, children, and heavy traffic off the carpet during the drying process. Wait 24 hours before removing protective tabs that our technicians have placed under the furniture to protect the carpet.
How can I keep my carpets cleaner for a longer period of time?
Vacuuming twice a week will help in preventing soil build up. Door mats and regular changing of ac filters also prevents soil build up.
